Most Popular Questions

1) How do I get started?

Call or email us today and schedule a complimentary consultation.  We will ask questions about your location, practice areas, budget, and goals and provide a customized content plan that fits your objectives.  Your content plan will include an estimate for the price of the work.

We will send you a client agreement if you decide to hire us.  We will begin work upon receipt of the signed client agreement and the first month’s retainer.

2) Is there a minimum contract or commitment?

SEO is a long game.  As such, our standard contract is six months, followed by month-to-month after that.  We suggest you engage in content marketing for at least six months for the best results.  Think of content marketing as a long-term investment that takes 3-12 months to develop and becomes your most profitable marketing channel.

We charge a monthly retainer.  Our minimum monthly retainer is $7,500.  We want clients who can afford to invest competitively.  We take a small number of clients and give them everything we have.

We require 60 days’ notice of cancellation of the contract because some of our processes require us to work ahead.  This timeframe also allows us to properly close out the service and assist you with the transition.

3) Who is writing my content?

All of your content is written in-house by a lawyer with eight years of experience practicing law and five-plus years of experience doing SEO.  Our attorney-writers scrupulously research and fact-check every article to ensure it is 100% accurate.  We provide authoritative links whenever there is an assertion of law or fact.

4) How does billing work?

We charge a monthly retainer due at the beginning of each billing cycle, facilitated through PayPal.  We begin work upon receipt of the retainer.  You will receive a detailed, itemized statement of the work we completed at the end of each billing cycle.

All of our billing is 100% transparent.  There are no hidden fees, ever.

Ask us about our rates.

5) How many revisions can I request?

Request as many revisions as you like.  We will continue to work on each article until it is perfect.  However, our clients rarely ask for more than one revision.  We typically complete articles with one round of editing or less.

6) Do you do web design and graphics?

Yes, we can design and build your website from the ground up.  Whether you want a basic website or a deluxe website with dozens of pages, we can design and build you the website you want.  Ask us about our website and legal content packages.

7) Do you use AI-generated content?

Our content is 100% human-generated.  All writing and revision are done by humans.  However, we use AI-powered tools to check for plagiarism (Grammarly), add backend data (Rank Math), and help generate legal blog topics (ChatGPT).  These tools save time, enhance the product, and enable us to provide greater value to our clients at a better price.

8) What is your turn-around time?

We edit each article several times for accuracy, errors and omissions, length, style, readability, key phrase density, headings, links, and more to ensure the highest quality.  As such, we expect a 2,000-word article to take five to seven days to complete (including editing and revisions).  However, we typically complete smaller projects faster.

9) How much does your legal content cost?

Ask us about our rates.  Our rates are always the same and are non-negotiable.

10) Do you work with non-law firms?

Our clients are law firms and marketing agencies with law firm clients.  However, we accept non-law firm clients in the legal industry, such as software services and practice area groups.

11) Can I be involved in the writing process?

Yes, you can be as involved as you want in the writing process.  Some lawyers like to be actively involved, while others prefer a hands-off approach.  We work with your preferences.  We will perform any edits or revisions you request.

12) How often should I post blogs?

Google loves blogs that are regularly updated.  If you can blog every day, then do it.  However, many attorneys do not have the time or the budget to post that often.  Thus, we generally recommend blogging at least once every two weeks – this keeps your content consistent and fresh, gives the articles time to gain traction, and also fits within your budget.
